My butterfly garden looks great and I know just how to keep it alive.
Cards identify native Florida butterflies and tell what host and nectar plants are necessary to support each species.
Students take a walk through the butterfly garden.
A student spots a chrysalis
underneath the bird bath.
Butterflies love  Lantana!
Make sure you water those plants.
A second grader uses a magnifying glass to get an up close look at the tree bark.
Everybody digs in to make a butterfly garden.
Make sure you pack that dirt in around those roots.
Classes are held outdoors
under the covered sheds.
 Everyone enjoys "Insect Bingo."
Students are planning their own butterfly gardens. Make sure everything is done to scale.
Writing is more fun outside!
Students add their own butterfly creations to the mural.
