Fourth grade is a year full of challenges and growth. Learning to express one's thoughts effectively is one of the main goals. There is also heavy emphasis on reading for understanding, mastering math facts, and learning problem solving. Fourth graders prepare to be successful on standardized tests and learn grade level curriculum.
